Additionally, he served as director of the River Combat School and held command positions over several battalions and specialized naval forces. His professional history spans numerous leadership roles, including commander of the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 14, the Riverine Marine Infantry Battalion No. 41, and the Special Forces Marine Infantry Battalion. He also commanded the Joint Task Force Titan and the Strategic Transition Command. Earlier in his career, he worked as an advisor and member of the Peruvian Navy's War Staff and held command responsibilities at the Marine Infantry Training Base.
