FURS with an important announcement: A deadline that affects many Slovenians is approaching

The Slovenian tax agency FURS has issued a notice informing taxpayers who received income tax informational calculations with an opening date of May 29, 2026, and have a payment deadline for additional taxes, that the payment period will expire on July 29, 2026. The notice states that the payment deadline is printed on the payment slip, which is part of the income tax informational calculation. Taxpayers can use the mobile app 'eDavki' to select various payment methods such as Flik or card payments, or prepare a payment slip within the app. Taxpayers who filed a dispute against the income tax calculation (deadline expired June 29, 2026) do not need to settle the amount, as the dispute suspends enforcement. Additionally, taxpayers can settle the adjusted tax in multiple installments. The simplest and fastest method is paying in three installments. In cases where a form for installment tax payment is submitted, no documents regarding income, savings, and assets of the taxpayer and their family members are required, and there is no deadline for submitting the form.
