Pretražena garaža pokazala je znake organiziranog poslovite, uključujući digitalnu vagu i predmete za pakiranje.

In a dramatic reversal of earlier claims, Zagreb police have revealed new details about the case involving a severely injured minor on Trnja Street, confirming that the young person had fabricated the entire story. The incident initially sparked concern after the minor alleged he was attacked by two men around 1:20 PM on Sunday near Starotrnjanska Street and had his mobility scooter stolen. He ended up in the Children's Hospital in Zagreb, where doctors determined he had sustained serious injuries. However, police investigations conducted over the following days uncovered that the minor had lied about being assaulted and having his scooter taken. According to police, the young individual had fallen off the scooter and suffered injuries, which led him to fabricate the narrative out of fear and anxiety. The initial investigation into the alleged assault quickly shifted focus after further inquiries revealed inconsistencies in the victim’s account. Police confirmed that there had been no actual criminal act committed against the minor, and the entire scenario was a fabrication. This revelation marked a significant shift in the case, with authorities emphasizing that the minor had misled investigators and the public. The police investigation has since expanded beyond the initial incident, uncovering a broader criminal network operating in the area. A detailed search of a garage located in the Trnja neighborhood led to the discovery of more than four kilograms of cocaine, along with numerous other drugs, weapons, and contraband items. The findings were made during a comprehensive criminal investigation targeting two individuals aged 49 and 50, who are suspected of involvement in drug trafficking and illegal arms possession. During the search, police found 4,269 grams of cocaine packaged in ten different types of wrapping materials, alongside a digital scale used for precise measurement and packaging tools. Additionally, they discovered 1,790 grams of cannabis-type material, 390 grams of cannabis resin, 90 tablets of MDMA, and 3,850 tablets of unknown chemical composition, which will be sent for forensic analysis. These items, combined with the manner in which they were stored and measured, strongly indicate that the substances were intended for resale. Beyond narcotics, the police also uncovered a substantial amount of pharmaceutical products, including 1,070 tablets of Normabel containing diazepam, 308 tablets of Subotex containing buprenorphine, 30 tablets of Praxiten containing oxazepam, 520 tablets of alprazolam, and 2.2 liters of methadone in 220 bottles. Alongside these items, police found packaging materials used for drug distribution and digital scales. The investigation also extended to illicit tobacco and cigarette trading. Authorities discovered 14 bags of finely cut tobacco weighing 400 grams each, all without the necessary oversight marks from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia, as well as five packs of Marlboro cigarettes, also lacking the required markings. Further searches of the garage revealed an additional 149 packs of cigarettes and 166 bags of finely cut tobacco without proper markings. Weapons were also recovered during the operation. Among them was an automatic pistol AP 001 caliber 9 mm (Agram 2000, model 91) complete with a silencer and two magazines, a rifle M56, and a pistol M57 caliber 7.62 millimeters. Additional items included a barrel with a locking mechanism, a plastic frame for a rifle, hundreds of rounds of ammunition in various calibers, and corresponding magazines. Following the completion of the criminal investigation, both suspects were handed over to the detention supervisor, and a formal criminal complaint has been filed with the Municipal Prosecution Office in Zagreb. The case highlights the extensive nature of the criminal activities taking place in the area, involving drug trafficking, illegal arms trade, and unregulated tobacco sales.
