A resident of Ljubljana recently raised concerns after spotting the official Audi A8 belonging to Mayor Andrej Janković parked near the local establishment known as "Pr' Konju." The incident occurred during a morning walk along the Savica River, where the car was seen parked opposite the venue. According to the observer, this is not the first time they have noticed the vehicle at that location. The Audi A8, registered under the plate number "LJ – ZATE," was spotted near the hippodrome area alongside stables and the horse police station. The observer noted that the car had been parked there on multiple occasions. However, the mayor himself was not present at the scene when the observation took place. According to the resident's account, the official vehicle was not driven by Mayor Janković but rather by someone else, possibly his driver or another member of his circle. Inside the car, three men were seated, one of whom is reportedly the owner of the local establishment. This detail adds to the intrigue surrounding the presence of the official vehicle at such a location. The establishment in question is situated at a bend in the pedestrian path along the river and is located near the recently constructed final section of the C0 canal. In addition to offering drinks, the venue also serves food items such as kebabs, lamb, and grilled meat. The resident highlighted several concerns regarding the setup of the location, noting that the temporary structure appears unusually developed, built from wood and equipped with electrical connections. Further observations include the installation of security cameras at each corner and on trees adjacent to the venue. These cameras are positioned to capture passersby, which the observer claims is legally prohibited since the location is on public municipal land and not privately owned. The resident emphasized that these measures appear to violate legal regulations concerning surveillance and the use of public space. In addition to questioning the legality of the setup, the resident pointed out that the owner of the establishment has frequently been seen in the vicinity wearing promotional clothing bearing the text "LJ-Zate," which is associated with Mayor Janković’s campaign. This connection raises further questions about potential conflicts of interest or misuse of public resources. The resident called for an investigation into the legality of the operation of the guesthouse, the use of municipal land, the implementation of video surveillance, and the possible use of the mayor's official vehicle at the mentioned location. They expressed concern over whether the official vehicle and its driver were engaged in activities funded by the public funds of Ljubljana residents. Following the submission of these observations, journalists contacted both the resident and the municipality to seek clarification. Questions were posed regarding who was driving the official vehicle yesterday and whether its presence at the specified location was related to the performance of official duties.
