Among the four submitted bids, the most competitive offer was made by a consortium consisting of PODN, instalacije športnih in industrijskih tlakov, d.o.o., and GGC, inženiring, svetovanje in izgradnja objektov d.o.o., who proposed a price of 46,416.85 euros without VAT. The consortium will oversee the execution of this part of the project. The third component of the project focuses on the renewal of the outdoor athletics track at OŠ Franca Rozmana Staneta in Maribor. The estimated cost for this section is 54,549.70 euros without VAT. The selected bid, which amounts to 28,178.88 euros without VAT, was again submitted by the same consortium of PODN and GGC. These two companies have been chosen to handle this segment of the work. It is important to note that the project is not funded by European Union funds. Instead, the city council has opted for a procurement method based solely on the lowest final bid price. All three contracts were signed on July 2, 2026, and the actual works are expected to commence soon.
