Slovenian singer Steffanio has unveiled a deeply personal musical trilogy titled Feniks, which explores his battle with cancer, the loss of his former wife, and his journey toward renewal. The project consists of three video clips, Hey Mr. President, Harmony, and Feniks, that together form a narrative of resilience, grief, and hope. The trilogy was released on August 17, 2026, and marks a turning point in Steffanio’s career, blending music with raw emotional storytelling. The first clip, Hey Mr. President, reflects on the fear and uncertainty that accompany a cancer diagnosis. In the song, Steffanio confronts mortality and questions the meaning of life during one of the most difficult periods of his existence. He emphasizes the importance of perseverance even when hope seems distant. “Even when it looks like hope is small,” he says, “you have to keep going.” This theme of endurance becomes central to the entire trilogy, setting the tone for the emotional depth of the work. Harmony is perhaps the most personal of the three videos. It serves as a tribute to his late wife, who died from cancer two years ago after their separation. Despite their divorce, they remained connected until her final days. Steffanio explains that this piece is both a memory and a reflection on love, loss, and how relationships can leave lasting imprints even after someone is gone. “She was my strength,” he recalls. “Even though we were apart, she stayed in my heart.” The trilogy concludes with Feniks, a song about rebirth and the beginning of a new chapter. Through donations, the foundation seeks to alleviate some of the financial and emotional burdens faced by those affected by the disease. “I want to give back,” he says. “These kids need support, and I believe music can offer comfort and strength.” Steffanio’s journey began when he was diagnosed with cancer.
