This marks the eighteenth year that Fina has presented these awards, which this time were given under the high patronage of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The awards were distributed across ten categories, including micro, small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as sectors such as agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, fastest-growing company, longest-running company, and best bank.

The competition attracted a significant number of participants, with 3,757 businesses meeting the criteria to enter the contest. The selection process was based on a comprehensive methodology developed by Fina, which evaluates the overall financial health of each company. Factors considered included investment management success, debt repayment ability, level of indebtedness, efficiency of management, number of employees, profit achieved, creditworthiness, and the reputation of the business entity.

Colas Mineral from Varaždin took home the award for the most successful small company, while PSC Antares from Kostrena was recognized as the most successful micro-enterprise.

In the category of the fastest-growing company, SATO from Zabok received the accolade, indicating a remarkable expansion in its operations during the year. NEXE from Našice was honored as the most successful company with a continuous business operation, reflecting its long-term stability and consistent performance. The Zagreb Bank was declared the most successful bank, underscoring its leadership in the financial sector. In the agricultural sector, Koka from Varazdin won the Golden Balance for the most successful agricultural company. Meanwhile, Turisthotel from Zdra claimed the top spot in the tourism industry, and Belupo from Kopřivnice was recognized as the most successful manufacturing company.

These awards serve not only as a testament to the companies' achievements but also as a benchmark for other businesses aiming to excel in their respective fields. The recognition by Fina, a respected financial institution, adds weight to these accolades, providing credibility and visibility to the winning companies. As the business landscape continues to evolve, these awards highlight the resilience and innovation of Croatian enterprises, setting a standard for future performance and growth.
