These efforts include his “Home for Every Child” campaign, which aims to increase the number of available foster homes. Adams argued that fostering families with sincere religious beliefs and moral convictions are crucial to expanding the network of available placements. He further noted that the 2024 rule created a division among families, categorizing them as either “LGBTQ-friendly” or not. Adams claimed that this classification discouraged potential foster parents, particularly those holding traditional values, from participating in the system. “We think that sent the wrong message,” he said, adding that the new policy ensures that all families feel included and encouraged to participate.
