In a letter to the people of Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath highlighted the relevance of Krishna’s teachings in contemporary governance and societal development. Adityanath emphasized that Lord Krishna’s life as Yogeshwar embodies the core principles of welfare-oriented leadership. He stated that the state government is committed to uplifting marginalized communities, eradicating poverty, creating job opportunities for the youth, supporting farmers, and ensuring gender equality by providing daughters with the same prospects as sons. These initiatives align with the ideals of Krishna, whom Adityanath described as a symbol of social harmony rather than privilege. The chief minister pointed to Krishna’s relationship with Sudama, a humble friend despite his royal status, as an example of genuine connection rooted in affection rather than power or wealth.
