El Tribunal de Antioquia ordenó al Gobierno y a los ministerios del Interior y Defensa un plan de seguridad para proteger a Briceño: tienen 30 días

The Administrative Court of Antioquia has ordered the Colombian government and the ministries of Defense and Interior to design and implement an urgent security intervention plan within 30 days to protect civilians in the municipality of Briceño. The court also gave the government 10 days to report how many military personnel are needed to address the security crisis in the region. Briceño is currently affected by armed dissidents linked to the FARC, including the 'Calarcá' faction led by 'Primo Gay,' which is fighting against other groups such as the weakened Front 18 and the 'Clan del Golfo.' These factions are competing over drug trafficking routes in the area. The governor of Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón, stated that the court recognized the imminent danger faced by residents due to illegal armed groups, territorial disputes, and illicit economies.
