EAGLE IGP urges parents to spend time with children

The Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE), led by Inspector General of Police Ake Ravi Krishna, urged parents to spend more time with their children and maintain a positive family environment to prevent them from engaging in drug-related activities. During an awareness program held in Vellaturu village in NTR District, EAGLE officials emphasized the importance of parental supervision and highlighted the dangers of drug addiction among youth. They noted that several students involved in drug peddling and consumption were facing legal consequences and ruined futures. EAGLE has been conducting raids in areas like train stations, educational institutions, and medical shops to curb drug trafficking and has established EAGLE Clubs in schools and colleges. Officials also encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity related to drug smuggling through a dedicated hotline.
