At 29, she has transitioned into a new chapter of life, balancing her career with motherhood. She shared her joy over becoming a parent earlier this year, expressing how meaningful the experience has been. Her partner, however, was absent from the scene. While some might have speculated that he stayed behind with their young daughter, Zala had already introduced him publicly in 2019. She posted a photo with him, making it clear how vital he was to her life. “He exists. He doesn’t come from the industry, nor does he suffer the harshness of the media as I do. That’s why he isn’t on my social media. And he means everything to me,” she wrote at the time. The couple officially married in 2022, marking a significant milestone in their relationship. For Đuro, the festival holds special significance. He will close the event with the screening of Ničija zemlja, a film directed by Danis Tanović. The movie, which won Bosnia and Herzegovina its first Oscar, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. A restored version of the film will be shown at the festival’s conclusion, offering audiences a fresh perspective on a classic. Đuro expressed excitement about revisiting the film in its newly digitized form, emphasizing the emotional impact of such screenings. Beyond the film, the festival continues to hold a deep connection for Đuro. “I always return here. It really means a lot to me,” he said, underscoring the enduring bond between himself and Sarajevo. He also mentioned the arrival of Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson, whom he described as a friend and one of the most genuine celebrities in Hollywood. “He’s one of the most likable Hollywood actors. Rare is the person who speaks honestly,” Đuro remarked, capturing the essence of the festival’s spirit.
