Results showed that while impala exhibited elevated stress levels during weekends (when tourist activity was higher) specifically in the dry season, other species did not show significant increases linked to tourism. Natural factors like seasonal changes and resource availability had a stronger impact on stress levels. The findings suggest that management strategies in nature reserves should account for species-specific responses to tourism.
