The tourism agency Katarina Line from Opatija organized a special eight-day sailing trip for the most successful students from elementary schools in Vukovar, in collaboration with numerous partners across Croatia. From June 20th to 27th, 2026, 27 students from six different Vukovar elementary schools participated in the journey aboard the traditional ship MB Delija, traveling along one of the most beautiful Adriatic routes: Podstrana – Makarska – Trstenik – Mljet – Vela Luka – Jelsa – Pučišća – Podstrana. During the trip, the students explored the beauty of the Croatian coast and islands, visited several towns, enjoyed swimming, socializing, excursions, and local experiences. The project has become a recognized initiative of solidarity and cooperation among various partners nationwide. Katarina Line thanked all participants who made this valuable project possible, including the City of Vukovar, transportation providers, ports, tourist communities, national parks, restaurants, and tour guides. The humanitaria action 'Children of Vukovar' continues with the goal of providing children who have earned recognition through their efforts with a memorable life experience.
