Danijel T., 43-godišnjak, koji je nedavno izašao iz zatvora u Bosni i Hercegovini, u bekstvu je nakon što je u noći između petka i subote u centru Čakovca upucao dva mladoca, 23 i 28 godina. Oba su ranjena, ali su u stabilnom stanju. Policija istražuje motiv, koji se sumira da je povezan sa drogama. Danijel je 2020. osuđen na pet i po godine zatvora zbog učestvovanja u kriminalnoj grupi koja je organizovala proizvodnju i distribuciju marihuane. U akciji „Unikat“ su uhapšeni šest ljudi, uključujući tri muškarca, a policija je oduzela 900 stabljika indijske konoplje, oružje i novac. Danijel je odslužio deo kazne u BiH i Hrvatskoj, a sada se suočava s optužbama za dva pokušaja ubistva i dovođenje u opasnost života i imovine.
