Dangote effects another cut in petrol price

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced its ex-depot price for Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) by N1 per litre, bringing it down to N1,075 per litre. This move comes as diesel prices have risen across several petroleum depots in Lagos, highlighting mixed trends in Nigeria's downstream petroleum market. Global crude oil prices have also seen a sharp increase, with Brent crude rising to nearly $80 per barrel. While some marketers like MRS Oil Nigeria have also reduced petrol prices slightly, others such as NIPCO, Sahara Energy, Aiteo, and African Terminal have kept their prices unchanged. In contrast to the relatively stable petrol prices, diesel prices have seen significant increases in Lagos, although there have been reductions in Port Harcourt and Warri.
