As part of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC) 60th anniversary celebrations, a community art creation workshop took place during the Hong Kong Book Fair. Approximately 100 students collaborated with local artist Jane Lee to create drawings of Hong Kong landmarks and city scenes, which would inspire a large-scale artwork commemorating the HKTDC’s anniversary. HKTDC leaders attended the event to highlight the organization’s role in linking Hong Kong with global markets and supporting youth development. The artwork focuses on themes such as Hong Kong’s trade connections and its status as a global business hub, incorporating elements like shipping, air freight, and community life. The final piece will be displayed publicly in Wan Chai from late October.
