CM seeks simplification of H-1B visa processing, renewal and stamping procedures

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged the United States government to streamline the processing, renewal, and stamping procedures for H-1B visas during a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor in New Delhi on Wednesday. The discussion centered around improving the efficiency of visa-related processes to reduce delays for professionals and students from Telangana seeking opportunities in the U.S. The chief minister emphasized the importance of providing advance notice of regulatory changes affecting visa policies, which would help stakeholders prepare accordingly. During their meeting, Mr. Reddy highlighted the need for greater coordination between U.S. universities and those in Telangana. In addition to addressing visa processing concerns, Mr. Reddy requested an expansion of visa interview slots for students from Telangana planning to pursue higher education in the United States.
