Two properties in Hidalgo seized; huachicol and drugs in Singuilucan secured

Federal and state authorities conducted two simultaneous raids in the municipality of Singuilucan, Hidalgo, dismantling properties suspected of being used for illegal activities. The operations, carried out by the Secretariat of Public Security, State Attorney General’s Office, National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), and National Guard, resulted in the seizure of 1,467 liters of illicit hydrocarbon fuel, 103 containers of varying sizes, 200 doses of marijuana, and 87 doses of synthetic drugs known as 'crystal.' These items were handed over to the relevant authorities for inclusion in ongoing investigations. Fuel theft and drug trafficking remain significant federal crimes in the state, with more than 20 municipalities in Hidalgo experiencing high rates of these offenses. Nationally, there was a 4.87% increase in clandestine fuel siphoning during the first quarter of the year, with Hidalgo accounting for 19.84% of the total.
