Butković posted a video from the Sabor: "Marine, where were you on this day three years ago? If you don't know, I'll remind you"...

Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure Oleg Butković publicly challenged MP Marin Miletić of the Most party over criticisms related to maritime assets. Butković reminded Miletić that three years ago, he left the parliament before voting on the new Maritime Assets and Ports Act, alongside members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who granted a concession to the Costabella company to fence off the beach at the Hilton Hotel in Rijeka. Butković pointed out that Miletić did not vote for the law that permanently banned such concessions and did not propose any amendments to improve the legislation. Meanwhile, Miletić has been cutting through metal gates at the hotel’s fenced-off beach to allow public access, arguing that citizens have a right to the maritime area.

Butković responded to Miletić, posting the following video: 'Where were you on July 14, 2023?'

Bias read (Conservative): The article frames the controversy around the legislation and the actions of Miletić, suggesting he acted against the interests of the public by supporting a concession that restricts access to the beach. The language implies criticism of Miletić’s behavior and aligns with the stance of the ruling (
