SerbiaDuring the summer months, blood reserves at transfusion centers typically decrease due to fewer donors during holidays and hot weather. However, this did not happen during a recent blood donation campaign organized by the Red Cross in Ćuprija. Forty citizens responded to the call, donating 38 units of blood within a few hours. The organizers expressed sincere gratitude to all donors for their humanity, generosity, and time. According to the Red Cross, which organized the event in collaboration with the Niš Transfusion Center, each unit of donated blood can save a life and offer hope to those in greatest need.
