A bull attacked a man in the village of Preloka, southeast Slovenia, near the border with Croatia, after the man attempted to load it onto a trailer. The 37-year-old victim was seriously injured and had to be evacuated by helicopter to a hospital in Ljubljana. This incident follows two similar cases reported in recent weeks. In one case, a farmer was attacked by a bull while trying to move it from pasture, requiring helicopter evacuation as well. Another incident involved a cow that became agitated during vaccination, injuring its owner before being calmed by a veterinarian and secured with a rope.
