The German government is also considering sanctions against the Russian cultural center in Berlin, known as the House of Russia, located in the heart of the city. Earlier this month, a drone bomb flew over Ukrainian Antonov aircraft, and just weeks prior, another drone collided with a DHL plane. On the other side of the border, Russian security services have detained a foreign citizen accused of organizing espionage operations using drones. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, admitted to being in contact with Ukrainian intelligence since 2023. According to reports from the Federal Security Service (FSB), he conducted reconnaissance flights over railway stations to identify oil transport trains and administrative buildings in central Moscow, transmitting data to Ukrainian intelligence. After moving to Murmansk, in northwest Russia, he attempted to cross illegally into Norway, where he was intercepted. These developments highlight the complex interplay between domestic and international security challenges.
