Bengaluru: Three arrested for murder conspiracy; six weapons seized

The investigation revealed that the accused had a prior dispute with another individual of the same name, who was once labeled a "rowdy-sheeter." This conflict reportedly escalated during the Annamma Jatre festival, prompting Lakshminarayana to devise a plan to eliminate his rival. According to police, he believed that killing the former criminal would elevate his status as a dominant figure in the neighborhood. Authorities confirmed that the prime accused had conspired with his accomplices and was prepared to carry out the assassination using deadly weapons when the police interrupted the plan. The raid led to the recovery of multiple firearms, which were confiscated as evidence. The autorickshaw found at the scene is suspected to have been used by the group to transport themselves or their weapons. Police have indicated that additional individuals may be involved in the conspiracy. They are currently working to identify and apprehend the remaining suspects.
