A 40-year-old man from Bengaluru allegedly killed his two young daughters before attempting suicide at a five-star hotel near Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Monday. The victims, identified as five-year-old Sheik Zehara and 10-year-old Sheik Zoya, were found dead alongside their father, SG Imran, who survived after being treated for severe injuries. Imran, a manager with a private cab company based in Bilalnagar near Nagavara Main Road, had checked into a hotel room on the fourth floor around 7:30 pm on Sunday. Hotel staff were informed that Imran was expecting a guest arriving from Dubai after midnight and planned to check out by Monday morning. However, he did not leave as scheduled. According to police, the hotel’s housekeeping staff attempted to contact Imran twice, first at 12:30 pm and again at 4:30 pm, but received no response. By 5:30 pm, the hotel manager used a duplicate key to enter the room and discovered the bodies of the two girls lying near the bed, along with Imran, whose throat had been slit with a knife. An ambulance was called, and all three were rushed to a nearby private hospital. Upon arrival, medical professionals confirmed the deaths of the two girls, while Imran remained in critical condition under treatment. Deputy Commissioner of Police, North-East Division, Mithun Kumar GK stated that authorities were alerted by the hotel’s security manager following reports of possible fatalities. A death note was found at the scene, which police believe was authored by Imran. The note reportedly expressed frustration over his wife's alleged infidelity, stating, “I am fed up with life due to the extra-marital affair of my wife. I have evidence to prove her affair.
