Attack in Ranucci, member of the gang does not respond to the PM

An attack was carried out against journalist Sigfrido Ranucci in Pomezia, Rome province, on October 16, 2025, which partially destroyed his car and damaged his home. According to prosecutors from Rome’s anti-mafia department, four individuals were directly involved in the bombing. One of them, Marika De Filippis, has opted not to respond during her interrogation via videoconference while under house arrest in Avella. Prosecutors accuse her, along with three other suspects, of possessing explosives and causing damage using mafia methods. The other three suspects—Pellegrino D’Avino, Antonio Passariello, and Saverio Mutone—are set to be questioned tomorrow and are expected to also invoke their right not to answer.
