Gunmen abducted two passengers after blocking a highway in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. The incident occurred around 8:40pm on Friday when the assailants set up a roadblock and stopped a vehicle driven by Kollog Dakwan. The attackers took two passengers from the vehicle before fleeing into the surrounding bush. Security forces, including troops from Sector 4 of Operation Enduring Peace, responded to the distress call and initiated a search operation to locate the victims and apprehend the perpetrators. Despite their efforts, no contact was made with the suspects during the initial operation. Security forces continue searching for the victims while intensifying patrols along the affected route and surrounding areas to prevent further attacks. Local residents are being asked for assistance in locating the abducted individuals and tracking the attackers.
