Allot developed plots to farmers who gave land for Education Hub, CM tells officials

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to hand over title documents for developed plots to farmers who contributed land for the Hakimpet Education Hub in his native Kodangal constituency within a week, according to local media reports. During a visit to the Education Hub in Dudyal mandal of Vikarabad district on Tuesday, the chief minister expressed frustration over delays in the process and emphasized the need for swift action. The visit coincided with a broader review of several developmental projects, including the Makthal, Narayanpet, Kodangal Lift Irrigation Project. The chief minister instructed officials to complete land acquisition without further delay and assured them that additional surveyors and necessary funds would be made available to accelerate the work. He also reiterated his commitment to ensuring that no tribal habitation remains without road access and urged the construction of administrative buildings for newly formed gram panchayats. During the inspection, the chief minister examined the ongoing construction of multiple educational institutions at the Education Hub, including the Young India Integrated Residential School, engineering college, hostels, veterinary college, government medical college, nursing college, and physiotherapy and paramedical college. He stated that he would personally monitor the progress of the project every month, spending one day each month at the site to oversee developments. His next scheduled visit is set for August 30, when he will hold another review meeting and stay overnight at the hub to closely monitor progress. In addition to focusing on the Education Hub, the chief minister addressed concerns regarding the pace of construction and issued warnings against negligence, stating that such lapses would result in disciplinary measures. He requested monthly progress reports on all projects under execution at the campus, underscoring his intent to maintain strict oversight. Senior legislators, including MLAs Ram Mohan Reddy and Manohar Reddy, along with officials from various departments and district authorities, accompanied the chief minister during the visit. The presence of these officials highlights the high level of attention being given to the development initiatives in the region.
