The French mini-series 'Elite Force' has become the most-watched title on Netflix worldwide within less than 24 hours of its release. The action thriller, consisting of six episodes, premiered on Wednesday, July 22, and quickly took the top spot on the global streaming service's leaderboard. In Croatia, it also topped the charts, surpassing the hit series 'I Will Find You'. The series follows the elite French tactical unit GIGN as they deal with terrorist threats and hostage situations. Members of the unit are professionals trained for the most dangerous missions, and their situation becomes more complicated when they become targets of a mysterious group. The show's success comes despite minimal promotion before its premiere, and it currently lacks official reviews or ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. The plot begins with David, a high-ranking officer in GIGN, preparing for retirement, but his plans are interrupted by an unexpected attack. He is tasked with training a promising new member, and the series opens with an intense night training session during the rain. One of the trainees, Max, demonstrates the physical strength and mental endurance needed to enter the elite unit.
