Police presence was heightened following the recent attack on the Christopher Street Day in Berlin earlier this month. Officers patrolled access points to the parade route, some equipped with helmets, body armor, and sidearms. A total of 46 people were detained by both municipal and cantonal police forces. Among those arrested were individuals charged with theft, drug trafficking, assault, and violations of foreigner and integration laws. Of the detainees, four were Swiss citizens, while others came from countries including Italy, Gambia, and Algeria. The event attracted international attention, with reports highlighting its scale and impact.
