CroatiaThe 29th edition of Rikon, Croatia's largest science fiction convention, took place at Exportdrva over the weekend. The event attracted thousands of fans interested in science fiction, fantasy, literature, film, social games, cosplay, popular science, and Asian pop culture. Organizers from the association 3. Zmaj, Marta Glažar and Valentina Mišković Yoe, thanked partners, sponsors, guests, exhibitors, and especially volunteers who made the event possible. Deputy Mayor of Rijeka Vedran Vivoda noted the growth of the event, from hundreds of attendees to around seven thousand visitors from across Croatia and the region. He emphasized the variety of content, including classics like 'Star Wars' and 'Harry Potter,' alongside topics such as astrophysics, art, gaming, and K-pop, offering around 100 program items over three days.
