20 years of cancer research

The annual Cancer Research Run organized by MedUni Vienna takes place under the motto 'Research moves! Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.' Now in its 20th year, the event transforms the Unicampus Altes AKH into a running venue for charity every October. The run brings together patients, relatives, researchers, doctors, and supporters who share the common goal of advancing cancer research. With around 4,000 participants each year, the event raises funds for important research projects and opens new perspectives for cancer patients. The next event is scheduled for October 10, 2026, with options to participate either at the Unicampus Altes AKH or via the Distant Run on a personal favorite route.
