UAA driver of a Nissan Murano has been placed under suspicion for causing a fatal traffic accident involving 12 deaths and six injuries. The incident occurred on July 4, 2026, on the Odessa-Melitopol-Novazovsk highway near the village of Schaslyve in Mykolaiv Oblast. According to investigators, the suspect was driving in the direction of Mykolaiv from Odessa and attempted an overtaking maneuver despite heavy traffic and without ensuring safety.
