Be cool, summer school! in Tinja

A Catholic educational institution in Slovenia has announced a summer programme titled “Be cool, summer school!” set to take place in Tinja, Austria, during July 2026. The initiative, organised by the Sodalitas Educational Institute, will offer a range of courses tailored for children, teenagers, and students. The programme includes language classes, science weeks, and cultural activities aimed at fostering learning in a relaxed environment. The summer school will run two main sessions. From July 6th to 10th, a German language camp will be held, targeting high school students and young adults from Slovenia preparing for studies at general or vocational secondary schools in Austria. Participants will engage in immersive language lessons designed to enhance their proficiency. The cost for this session is 450 euros, which covers tuition and full board. From July 20th to 24th, two parallel programmes will be available. The first is the Science Week, intended for children and adolescents aged 11 to 15 years. This week-long activity will focus on collaborative learning, exploration, and discovery through hands-on experiments and interactive sessions. The second programme, the Summer Camp for Slovenian Language, will provide participants with an engaging and fun environment to practice and experience the Slovenian language. Both programmes will cost 290 euros each, including instruction and full accommodation.
