He noted that Deezer has already taken proactive steps since 2025, including developing a detection tool capable of identifying AI-generated music with 98% accuracy. Over 13.4 million such tracks were identified and flagged during that year, demonstrating the effectiveness of the technology in curbing unauthorized use. Other major platforms, such as Spotify, have also begun addressing the challenges posed by AI-generated content. In 2025, Spotify introduced several measures to help users distinguish between human-created and AI-assisted compositions. The company encouraged musicians and producers to adopt greater transparency in their use of AI tools and recommended compliance with guidelines set by the DDEX organization. These efforts aim to prevent misuse and promote ethical practices in the production of music.
